A recent study conducted by NPD’s quarterly SMB Technology Monitor reports that 73% of small and medium businesses in the US plan to buy tablets for their employees this year, the majority will be Apple’s iPad.
The NPD Group surveyed businesses with less than 1,000 employees about their intent to purchase tablets over the next 12 months. The study found that 90% of companies plan to spend the same amount or more on tablets this year, an average investment of $21,000.
